Attend the biggest entertainment event of the year in Europe and get your tickets to the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest right away. Tickets for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest Final and the two Semi-Finals will become available soon, as well as sharply priced tickets to several dress rehearsals for each event.

Ticket sales takes place in three stages and will start with the sales of packages.

• Package A: All events (all twelve events, including dress rehearsals and live shows)
• Package B1/B2: Ticket to the Final, one of the Semi-Final live shows and dress rehearsals of both Semi-Finals (eight events)
• Fan package: A fan package, similar to Package A, is being sold to fan club organizations

The special fan package is available to members of the OGAE fan clubs. Ticket distribution will be co-ordinated by OGAE International and more information will become available through the website of OGAE Serbia before the international ticket sales starts.

Without doubt, the Eurovision Song Contest is the biggest annual entertainment event in Europe. Those who have attanded the show in person know what it feels like to share joy, excitement and unity during a spectacular show full of music and entertainment. To give fans from all over the world the opportunity to be part of this experience, a specific amount of tickets will be assigned to foreign visitors of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.

Hotels fully booked? No rooms available? Don't worry! A large number of 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels have been reserved for delegates, press and fans visiting Belgrade for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. The Serbian entry for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest was selected in the Beovizija festival, which has been taking place every year since 2003. Yesterday evening, a semi-final took place with twenty entries, the ten best of which proceeded to tonight's final. Apart from the national final participants, the semi-final had already featured several representatives of other countries for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, who had all travelled to Belgrade to present their contributions to the Serbian public: Stefan Filipoviæ from Montenegro, Rebeka Dremelj from Slovenia, Kraljevi Ulice feat. 75 Cents from Croatia, Laka from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tamara, Vrèak & Adrian from FYR Macedonia, and Isis Gee from Poland. Moreover, the organisers paid tribute to Toše Proeski, winner of the first edition of Beovizija in 2003 and representative of FYR Macedonia in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, who had died in a car accident last year.

The winner Jelena Tomaševiæ won the Beovizija already in 2005, but back at that time, the festival only served as a semi-final of the national selection procedure of Serbia and Montenegro. In the final, she was narrowly beaten by the band No Name from Montenegro. This time, however, she finally made it. Her song Oro was written by Željko Joksimoviæ, who had represented Serbia and Montenegro in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, reaching the second place. He will be one of the presenters of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. Being the host country, Serbia is directly qualified for the Final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest on 24th May.

From time immemorial, many people have visited us. Both invited and uninvited were coming. Legends were written and testimonies of their time were built. Duration of the program: 6 Days / 5 nights

Day 1th: Arrival in Belgrade and accommodation in the hotel. Our professional guide will acquaint you with the details of the program which will be fulfilled during your stay. Depending on the time of the arrival, lunch or dinner will be organized.

Day 2nd: Breakfast. Departure to Vršac. Vrsac is a beautiful city in Vojvodina, located on the very border with Romania, and known, above all, after its vineyards. Data inform us that the grapevine has been grown in this area for over twenty centuries. But before you "start flying up in the sky" on the wine way, Vršac should be discovered! Town of spiritual culture, theatre tradition, great writers and bohemians…

Route starts with visiting St. Nikolaj Church, Vladicanski dvor [Bishop Court], Magistrate, Cathedral, Vršac Museum, and significant "Pharmacy on the stairs", the oldest pharmacy in the Balkans. Then its scheduled visit of the Monastery Mesic [15th century], located not far from Vršac.

Afterwards its time for discovering cafés in Vršac! This enjoyable route starts with restaurant "St. Nikola", exclusive for many things, which date back to 18th century. From there, we move spontaneously on the wine way, which directly leads into the cellars of "Vrsac vineyards", wine producing company with up - to - date equipment for winemaking. Passing throughout the wine plantations occupying area of 1700 hectares, we arrive in the old famous cellar in Gudurica village, where we can finally taste everything we have talked about. We prepared the best sorts for dear guests, and after being friends with the wine for a long time, we are going back to Belgrade - hotel.

Day 3rd: Breakfast. Departure to Banja Koviljaca [spa]. Wherever you go from Belgrade, you will discover that Serbia is luxurious and healing. Under the wooded Mountain Guèevo and in the middle of a hundred year old park, with lots of thermo mineral springs you will discover beautiful Banja Koviljaca, also known as the Royal spa.

After leaving Belgrade, we will arrive in Ruma, where we will take direction Sabac - Loznica - Banja Koviljaca, located in Western Serbia. Relaxation with refreshment after few hours of drive will be in the restaurant on the terrace of comfortable "Villa Dalmacija", and you will specially enjoy a hundred - year - old spa park. Or maybe you wish to try pearl bath, Royal bath, swimming in thermal water pool or at least try the effect of healing mud [peloid] on your body in the wellness center in Banja Koviljaca.

Your muscles will relax, your blood will circulate, while your mind will clear up, and all the consequences of the stress will be in the past. Lunch is planned here, after which we return to Belgrade. On our way back we visit Trsic, a birth place and birth house of Vuk Karadzic and the Tronosa Monastery, foundation of the Nemanjics Royal Family. In the evening we arrive in Belgrade. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 4th: Breakfast. Departure to the Country Club hotel Babe.
In Country Club hotel Babe we will spend a day and have lunch. The hotel offers two pools in the open, small football pitch, two professional tennis courts, basketball, handball and volleyball playing fields, volleyball sand terrain, trim track, walking paths, the lake for sport fishing, paddock, and marked paths for horse riding.

The thoroughbred horse farm is a special attraction for the guests, where the team of experienced instructors will teach you the basics of riding, and show the paths through the beautiful nature of the hotel complex to the excellent horsemen. During the stay we will go to the nearby mountain Kosmaj and visit the Monastery Tresije. Return to Belgrade in the evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 5th: After the breakfast in the hotel we begin familiarizing with Belgrade. Belgrade should be first experienced from the rivers. Therefore we will start the cruising from the Danube quay. Sailing along the Danube to the confluence of the Sava into the Danube, then to Zemun, Big War Island, Sport Center "May 25th", beneath Belgrade bridges, Cukarica branch, river islands Ada Ciganlija and Ada Medjica. The sailing is 18km long and it lasts 3 hours. The lunch of Serbian national cuisine will be served on the ship along with the tasting of several sorts of domestic brandy [rakija].

Belgrade sightseeing / EuroSong tour 2008

 Day 1th: Meeting of passengers and representatives of the agency at the airport Nikola Tesla - Belgrade. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Day 4th: One - day program - One day with Nikola Tesla

The day with Tesla begins on the catamaran boat, where Tesla's breakfast is planned, as well as a public lecture with the works of a composer Stevan Mokranjac in a way Tesla saw and experienced them. The program will be preformed by the national song and dance ensemble under the name of "Nikola Tesla" and under the original flag which Tesla presented them. There you will take active part in the program and learn to dance traditional Serbian "kolo".

Landing from the boata and following the way once Tesla went along, when he visited Belgrade. Lunch "Tesla's Menu" in a well - known Belgrade café restaurant. The afternoon rest and preparation for Tesla's night. Departure on the drama performance at the "Madlenianum" theatre, dedicated to Tesla. Since it is known that the great genius worked late at night, in his honour, we will spend the night in the heart of Belgrade, Nikola Tesla Museum, performing experiments which made him famous.

Koncert ispred Doma Narodne skupštine otvoriæe grupa Van Gog, ovogodišnji dobitnik MTV nagrade, a kao zvezda veèeri najavljen je Haris Džinoviæ.

Na toj bini planirani su i nastupi Vlade Georgijeva, Flamingosa i grupe Oðila, a nakon Džinoviæa, do ranih jutarnjih sati publiku æe voditi di-džej Balkan Bits, muzièar poreklom iz BiH, koji živi u Nemaèkoj, navodi se u saopštenju. Na velikom ekranu, u saradnji s Televizijom Studio B, biæe emitovane slike doèeka Nove godine u ostalim evropskim prestonicama, kao i poruke onih koji su obeležili 2007. godinu: Novaka Ðokoviæa, Jelene Jankoviæ, Ane Ivanoviæ, Marije Šerifoviæ...

Program na Trgu Republike trebalo bi da otvori beogradski Big Bend, a potom je najavljen nastup benda Stereo MCs .Nakon Stereo MCs , kojima æe ovaj nastup, kako se navodi u saopštenju, biti svetska uvertira za novi album, predviðen je nastup Momèila Bajagiæa Bajage, a nakon njega Bebi Dol.

Predviðeno je, takoðe, da se na prostoru ispred Arene, sa severne strane, postavi klizalište površine 800 kvadratnih metara, koje bi radilo od 21. decembra do 21. januara. Planirano je da na tom mestu, u noæi izmeðu 31. decembra i 1. januara, bude otvorena treæa scena, namenjena prevashodno mlaðoj publici, na kojoj æe se slušati elektronska i di-džej muzika.

Od 23. decembra do 23. januara, na Trgu Nikole Pašiæa, biæe otvoreno novogodišnje klizalište za decu i mlade, a 1. januara biæe održana i tradicionalna humanitarna manifestacija Ulica otvorenog srca.

Novogodišnji karneval biæe prireðen 31. decembra od 11 do 14 èasova. Sveèanu povorku predvodiæe velika metalna lutka Maks Metalik , glumci iz Dadova, gimnastièarke, animatori na štulama i s vatrenim toèkovima, deda-Mrazovi na visokim viljuškarima...

2.dan, 30.12.2007.- nedelja: - MOSKVA
Doruèak. Panoramsko razgledanje grada autobusom u pratnji struènog vodièa, u trajanju od 4 sata. Moskvu je 1147. g. osnovao Jurij Dolgoruki. Broji preko 13.000.000 stanovnika, a zauzima površinu od 1.000 km2. Smeštena je na 7 brežuljaka.  Videæete: Crveni Trg, Tversku ulicu, Boljšoj Teatar, Novodevièanski manastir, Univerzitet Lomonosov, Varabjova brda, Park Pobede, Kutuzovski prospekt, Ulicu Novi Arbat, centralne trgove i ulice i jednu od stanica metroa.  I sve to uz zanimljivu prièu našeg vodièa o istoriji i sadašnjem životu Moskve.

Doruèak. Polazak u 11.00h na razgledanje Crvenog trga, uz pratnju struènog vodièa. Poseta Hramu Hrista Spasitelja - remek delo ruske arhitekture, živopisa i skulpture. Hram je graðen oko 40 godina. Po završetku razgledanja, šetnja gradom i poseta jednoj od najveæih robnih kuæa u svetu "GUM", gde su zastupljene najveæe svetske robne marke, obilazak starog dela Moskve sa elitnim restoranima. Povratak u hotel. Noæenje.

Polazak autobusom iz hotela u 11 h, u pratnji struènog vodièa, na razgledanje teritorije Kremlja i crkava kao što su: Uspenska, Arhangelska i Blagoveštenska crkva, Car-top – nastao u 16. veku, težak 40t, Car-zvono – najveæe na svetu, teško 202t, a visoko 6.14m, spoljni izgled predsednièke palate (ukljuèene su ulaznice). Kremlj predstavlja bivšu rezidenciju ruskih careva. Moguænost prisustvu “smene carske straže” u Kremlju. Organizator ove turistièko-zabavne manifestacije je Turistièka organizacija Beograda, a pokrovitelj Grad Beograd. Kako "Beoinfo" navodi, realizujuæi ovu manifestaciju, glavni grad Srbije je veæ dve godine punopravni èlan Federacije evropskih karnevalskih gradova.

Program karnevala posetioci æe pratiti sa obala reke, kao i sa broda ,Ðerdap", koji æe za ovu priliku biti VIP mesto, i na njemu æe se okupiti predstavnici ambasada, konzularnih predstavništava, države Srbije, gradskih vlasti i medija.

Ove godine u programu æe uèestvovati i karnevalske grupe iz susednih zemalja - Makedonije, Hrvatske i Crne Gore, zatim jedna karnevalska plesna grupa iz Brazila, kao i one iz srpskih gradova: Bele Crkve, Vrnjaèke Banje, Vršca, Panèeva i Beograda.

Manifestacija æe poèeti Deèjim karnevalom, koji æe se održati na levoj obali Save od 17 do 19 èasova, sa oko 250 uèesnika i desetak karnevalskih grupa, a program æe voditi Peðolino i Leontina.

Od 17.30 do 18 sati održaæe se revija beogradskih jedrilièarskih klubova, od 18 do 18.30 revija veslaèkih i kajakaških klubova, od 18.30 do 19 skijanje na vodi i padobranski skokovi, a od 19 do 19.45 revija džet-ski akrobacije na vodi.

Od 19.45 do 22.30 èasova održaæe se karnevalska povorka, na èijem æe èelu biti brod ,Beograd". Zatim idu karnevalske grupe na ploveæim binama i pontonima.Karneval se zatvara nastupom brazilske plesne grupe ,Karamba-samba".

Od 22.30 do 22.45 èasova je vatromet, za vreme koga æe se Brazilci presvuæi i nastaviti svoj program do jedan èas posle ponoæi, na potezu izmeðu restorana ,Promaja" i Kapetanije.

Tokom Beogradskog karnevala brodova biæe zatvorena žuta i biciklistièka traka u pravcu Stari grad - Novi Beograd od pet do 24 èasa, dok æe Brankov most biti zatvoren od 22.30 do 22.45 èasova, kada je predviðen karnevalski vatromet.

Za vreme manifestacije biæe zatvorene obe biciklistièke trake na potezu Brankov most - Ušæe, kao i parking prostor ispred restorana "Promaja".

37. filmski festival u Nišu poèeæe u subotu 25. avgusta 2007 godine. To je jedina domaæa smotra filmova na kojoj æe biti prikazano pet svetskih premijera srpskih filmova – ovo tvrdi novi direktor festivala Dragan Bjelogrliæ. On je na konferenciji za novinare naglasio da je koncept jedinog svetskog festivala posveæenog glumcima u naèelu ostao isti, ali je bogatiji kada je reè o gostima. Prema njegovim reèima, ove godine Niš æe posetiti predstavnici kinematografija "koje su kompatibilne sa ovom našom", kao i kasting direktori koji æe uèestvovati u nekoliko radionica prateæeg programa. Akreditovano je i dvadesetak stranih novinara.

Festival æe otvoriti film "Mala noæna muzika" Dejana Zeèeviæa, u kojem se u glavnim ulogama pojavljuju Gordan Kièiæ, Vuk Kostiæ, Zorana Beèiæ i Feða Stojanoviæ.

Sledeæih dana na programu su filmovi "Jedan na jedan" Mladena Matièeviæa, po scenariju Srðana Anðeliæa (uloge: Zoran Cvijanoviæ, Sonja Kolaèariæ, Bane Bojoviæ), "Mrtav ‘ladan" Milorada Milinkoviæa (uloge: Nikola Ðurièko, Sonja Kolaèariæ, Tara Maniæ, Srðan Todoroviæ), "Janez" Živojina Pavloviæa (uloge: Radko Poliè, Nebojša Glogovac, Milena Pavloviæ), a poslednji u ovoj seriji je film Zdravka Šotre "Zona Zamfirova", predviðen za 27. avgust, u kom se pojavljuju Dragan Nikoliæ, Katarina Radivojeviæ, Paulina Manov i Branimir Brstina.

U takmièarskom delu programa pojaviæe se domaæi filmovi "Apsolutnih sto" Srðana Goluboviæa, "Ona voli zvezdu" Marka Marinkoviæa, "T.T. sindrom" Dejana Zeèeviæa, "Ringeraja" Ðorða Milosavljeviæa, "Bumerang" Dragana Marinkoviæa i "Sve je za ljude" Dragoslava Laziæa.

O nagradama za najbolje uloge odluèivaæe troèlani žiri, koji æe èiniti Vladica Milosavljeviæ, Siniša Kovaèeviæ i Radko Poliè.

Slovenaèki film "Zvonjava u glavi" Andreja Košaka i islandsko ostvarenje "Osmeh galeba" biæe prikazani van konkurencije.

"In memoriam" program festivala ove æe godine biti posveæen velikanu srpske glume Danilu Bati Stojkoviæu. Filmovi u kojima je igrao biæe prikazivani svakog dana od 17 èasova u bioskopu "Vilin grad".

Turistièka Organizacija Srbije nedavno je objavila da je broj domaæih i stranih turista poveæan za 19%. Od tog broja domaæih turista je bilo 73 odsto ili 791.109, 20 procenata više nego u prvom polugodištu lane.

Istovremeno, za 16 odsto porastao je i broj stranih turista, na 296.444. Najviše turista posetilo je velike gradove, njih 365.730, od èega su 202.396 gosti iz inostranstva, a veliku posetu imala su i planinska mesta u kojima je ukupno bilo 244.772 turista.

Od poèetka godine do kraja juna u Srbiji je ostvareno preko 3,4 miliona noæenja, što je poveæanje od 14 odsto u poreðenju sa istim periodom 2006. godine.

Domaæi turisti su, od ukupnog broja noæenja, ostvarili 82 odsto ili preko 2,8 miliona, što je poveæanje od 13 procenata. Poveæao se i broj noæenja stranih turista za 19 odsto, na 637.053. Mereno brojem ostvarenih noæenja, kako istièu u TOS-u, domaæi gosti su najviše boravili u planinskim mestima (37 odsto) i banjskim mestima (33 odsto), dok su strani turisti najviše boravili u velikim gradovima (63 odsto).

Domaæi turisti su, prema broju ostvarenih noæenja u prvom polugodištu 2007. godine, najviše boravili na Kopaoniku (268.746 noæenja) i to 11 odsto više nego u istom periodu lane, a zatim slede Beograd, Vrnjaèka banja i Zlatibor.

Strani turisti su ostvarili najviše noæenja u Beogradu (359.526 noæenja), 18 odsto više nego u istom periodu prošle godine, a nakon toga najviše noæenja bilo je u Novom Sadu, na Kopaoniku i Zlatiboru.

Prema podacima TOS-a, najveæi broj noæenja u prvih šest meseci ostvarili su turisti iz Bosne i Hercegovine (71.093), 11 odsto više nego u isto vreme lane, a slede turisti iz Crne Gore, Slovenije i Hrvatske.

The Guca Festival, the most noisy and fantastic folklore music festival. Fancy, during three days more than twenty fanfares from about ten brass, each trying to play better and more noisy than the others. In Guca Festival, the rhythm and the feast sound are on the maximum volume! Because Guca, that is not only that brilliant hot music known to all of us in the Kusturica pictures, but it is also a complete art of living and a way of thinking. Firstly this characteristic melodious and rhythmic sound charms you completely and make you tremble. Then entire audience starts to move in the rhythm of this crazed music, each one holding hands and screaming the happiness of being there. In Guca Festival, nobody is thinking of anything else then parting

The feast in Guca is taking place during three days in the first week in August. On Friday you arrive entirely vivacious to the place of crime and at once an impression of festive gaiety and of the rural ambience over comes you. Then the first “shock” on an enormous scene in the middle of the maize fields, about twenty groups are playing in an intact diapason the winning piece of the previous year. You should know that the best brass fanfares from the whole Serbia were selected after competing through all the country during several  months. The great parade of the Guca Festival takes place on Saturday, but especially a formidable competition “outside festival” that sees the groups playing in all the streets of Guca. One group answers another and you are bathed in the hell rhythms and in the harmonies of the trumpets. In the evening everyone is dancing on the tables and swinging as they can. On the last day of the Guca Festival the fanfares perform the last battle of honour at the greatest joy if the audience. Guca became during the years the meetin place for those being in love with this so particular kind of music that had converted even the groups in Belgium, in France (with the “Sislav”) and in USA. 

From the practical point of view, there is no chance for lodging in Guca except in the overcrowded little motel. You should search for the accomodation in inhabitants’ lodgings in Ivanjica or Lucani. If you have a car you can stay in Cacak, but shouldn't miss your last transportation. Or you can always sleep under the stars!

The village of gucha in the Dragacevo district, peaceful and colorful part of western Serbia , has gained world fame owing to its Assembly of Trumpet Players, the largest trumpet event on the planet. The love of the people of Dragacevo for music, especially for the trumpet, began in the rule of Prince Milos Obrenovic, who ordered the formation of the first military band in 1831. From then until now the trumpet has reigned here uninterrupted while woodwind instruments, in keeping with the customs, warm the soul of its population. The sound of the trumpet traditionally accompanies every major event in Serbia's rural and small-town life: births, baptisms, weddings, Slav {family patron saint day}, farewell parties for those joining military service, state and church festivals, harvesting, reaping, and also departing this world. Appropriate music is played on these occasions, thus preserving the spirit of the existing tradition. The music is very diverse: from indigenous melodies, via kolo {a fast-rhythm chain dance}, marches and characteristic southern Serbia cocek dances, all the way to tunes that have emerged more recently, but always taking care to honor old harmonies. This music has won over the hearts of not only the local population, but has also warmed the hearts of outsiders and foreigners. In the several days of the Gucha festival, hardly anyone can resist giving themselves to the adrenalin-rushing rhythms and melodies that simply force one to jump to ones feet and dance.

With considerable experience in organizing Assemblies, today the traditionally hospitable Gucha has earned its place on the map of world music festivals, inviting high interest from ethno music lovers, and deservedly so. As an internationally recognized trumpet capital, and a singular corner of positive energy, a place with accumulated joy, gaiety and spontaneity, coupled with the piercing yet gentle sound of the trumpet, Gucha is a place of catharsis of the heart and soul while the festival lasts. All this is more than enough to attract visitors to Gucha each Mexico , Spain , Greece , Denmark , China and many other close or distant countries. The names of Boban Markovic, Milan Mladenovic, Ekrem Sajdic, Elvis Ajdinovic, Fejat and Zoran Sejdic have carried the glory of the Serbian trumpet across the world. Some 500,000 visitors are expected at the next, and 45 th Assembly. That would be very impressive indeed, would it not?
